Mojo Monday 115

Happy Monday! I know a lot of you don't particularly *like* Mondays, but I love them for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! PLUS...it just so happens that it snowed here (like 8" of it!) and I was doing a happy snow dance this morning until I realized that I had to drive my son to the dentist for 1 p.m. I took the truck and drove in 4x4 most of the way to town - nasty stuff when it comes that quickly and so much all at once.
Anyhewwwww...onto the challenge! Here's the sketch for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge:
And this is my creation:

I really like how this card just "came together" just like that! It was a matter of picking out a good stamp for the circle, and bing-bang-boom! It was all done! I embossed the church image with clear embossing powder to give it a bit more of a classy look. Tell me what you think....

Thanks for stoppin' in tonight - I'm off to turn the kettle on for some more tea. I am not feeling very well these days (nasty head cold) and the kids also want some hot chocolate while they decorate the tree. Yep, it's a TAD BIT EARLY, I know...but I am hosting a Christmas potluck for my Usona Stamp Club this coming Saturday - so need to have the house festive :)

Inkingly Yours,

Lori

This is my "masterpiece" with this sketch. I like the clean, crisp lines and the simplicity of the card. Let me know what you think!

Patterned Pines Diva Challenge

Good afternoon fellow crafters! Today was a great day...the kids got a lot of unit tests done, the house got decorated a bit for Christmas, the laundry is caught up, DH is on his way home after being gone for 10 days....AND....I got to CRAFT again!! Yee-haw! This time it was for the Diva Coffee Break Design Challenge:

This is the card I created using the above sketch:

Stamps: Patterned Pines, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Real Red, Merry Moments DP

It feels "so good" to have my crafting mojo back again.....I know I keep saying that and y'all are probably sick of me saying it already, but it's really exciting for me. I truly do LOVE stamping and creating various paper crafts and to lose all interest for over a year is very disturbing. But...I'm BAAAACK!! And lovin' it.....I challenge all my PEEPS to hop on over to some of the challenges listed on the right hand side of my blog here ----> and do some of them - they really ARE a lot of fun and it helps get your creative side flowing.

Thanks for stopping in and I wish you all a great night!
