MM #275 {Pastel Colors!}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Sue is our hostess and she's looking for us to use "pastel colors" on our cards:

I wanted to CASE a beautiful Christmas card I received from one of our girls, Sandy, in our monthly stamping club and it just so happened that I had all the goodies to do it. This is Sandy's GORGEOUS card she made for us:

Isn't that just BEAUTIFUL?!? I dug out my Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up! and got to work...I used a silver paper with Pink Pirouette for a pastel color. The sentiment was cut out using my Fancy Stitched Labels from Craftin' Desert Divas.

Thanks so much for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have created using Sue's "pastel color inspiration" challenge! Cheers!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers - Shaker Fun!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog - today, it is my turn to share on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog and I am so excited to share this super cute floral coffee shaker card with you all!

It was a lot of fun to create the cup full of posies - and assemble this fun shaker. I used some new-to-me goodies that I purchased/won after the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Full lists of supplies will be at the bottom of this post.

There was quite a bit of white space remaining after I had the card assembled, so I decided to get out my Copic Multi Liner and do some fine doodling around the outside and around the flowers and shaker cup - so fun!

Card Supplies:

Stamps: Always Time, Verve
Paper: Die Cut Shaker Card - Jillibean Soup; Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Olive Green - SU!
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories: Flower Dies - Lil' Inker Designs; Copic Multi Liner pen, large gum drops, sequins

Thank you so much for stopping in today! Cheers!

Jam-makin' Days of Winter....

Welcome back to my blog for the wrap-up of our Paper Sweeties Winter "Blast from the Past!" We did not have a new release this month so we were showcasing some of our favorite stamps/sweet cuts relating to winter.

Now...I bet you are asking me "why a jar then?" Well...I don't know about a lot of you, but I freeze a lot of my fruit in the summer when I harvest it, then I make jam on the cold, blustery days of winter! The house smells so heavenly and it gets our shelves stocked up and good for the following year when things are super busy!! :)

I made this card last year and I really wanted to show it off again - it's one of my favorites and I hope that's ok :)

My card was made using an older stamp/die set called Mason Jar along with Handmade for You Accessories stamp set
and Sweet Cuts - Circle Scallop Frames.

Please be sure to check out what the rest of my Paper Sweeties team mates have created for you using some of our "winter" themed stamps and sweet cuts:

Thank you so much for stopping in today. Happy crafting! Cheers!

Merry Monday #273 {Color Challenge!}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Marcia is our hostess and she's looking for us to use the following color inspiration as our jump-off point on our cards:

I dug out a new-to-me Stampin' Up! set called Snowflake Sentiments and I LOVE THEM!! They are so bold and the font is beautiful...there are sentiments for inside the card as well....very pretty!

I decided to go with some die cut snowflakes to finish off the card and added some glittery red gumdrops to finish it off....hope you like it!

Thanks so much for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have created using Marcia's "color inspiration" challenge! Cheers!

Sending Warm Hugs & Kisses with Paper Sweeties!

Hello there everyone! This month over at Paper Sweeties, instead of a new release, we are showcasing some of our favorite "winter" goodies for our January 2018 Blast from the Past!!

For my card today, I have used a few different stamp sets and sweet cuts to create my super cute snow friends card (all products listed with links at the bottom of this post).

I stamped the snow people from Snow Friends on white card stock, cut them out with the matching sweet cuts - then stamped their accessories onto various designer paper and cut them out with the dies, glued them all together and I think they make a super cute pair!

The sentiment is from Let it Snow, and I also used the With Love sweet cuts heart to make their backdrop...

Here's a close up....

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

QKR Stampede - Anything Goes
As You Like It - Anything Goes
Crafty Creations - Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes

Please be sure to check out what the rest of my Paper Sweeties team mates have created for you using some of our "winter" themed stamps and sweet cuts:

January 2018 Paper Sweeties Blast From the Past - Winter Edition!

Hello there everyone! This month over at Paper Sweeties, we are showcasing some "winter" goodies for our January 2018 Blast from the Past!!

Today, I am showing off miss Madison in her gorgeous plaid winter outfit from the Let it Snow stamp set :) She's ready for the cold weather wouldn't you say?! It's been soooo cold here in central Alberta, CANADA the past 3 weeks or so (-40C windchills etc) and I have been bundled up just like Madison lol...brrrr!

Here's a close up....

I paper pieced Madison's outfit by stamping the hat and coat from Let It Snow onto some gorgeous plaid paper. I felt the same plaid paper needed to be used as my background - I LOVE PLAID! lol....

Please be sure to check out what the rest of my Paper Sweeties team mates have created for you using some of our "winter" themed stamps and sweet cuts:

Thanks for stopping in and we'll be back tomorrow with some more blasts from the past - Winter Edition - for you all! Cheers!

Merry Monday #272 {Glasses}

Welcome back to my blog! This week at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, miss Leanne is our hostess and she's looking for us to use GLASSES on our cards:

For my card I used this cute set from Your Next Stamp called "Clink." I apologize for the poor quality pictures...I tried a couple different ways to take them to capture the black panel, but black is hard to capture - and then realized as I was adding my watermark, that you can see some glue on the top left hand corner. SOOOO sorry!

The "cheers" die is from My Favorite Things and the background stitched circles die and double stitched panel die is from Gina Marie Designs.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Crafting From the Heart - Anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping in today - be sure to hop on over and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have created using Leanne's "glasses" challenge! Cheers!
